Where It Began

The Basket Company began in 1999 in a small space in Jamestown, New York. What started as a tiny operation with big hopes has steadily grown, thanks to our loyal customers. 

Since those early days, The Basket Company has grown into a destination for thoughtfully curated gift baskets for every occasion, season, and holiday. Each basket is packed with a mix of locally sourced favorites like regional coffee, jams, and baked goods, alongside crowd-pleasing candies, nuts, and chocolates. In addition to our signature baskets, we also create individually packaged snack packs available for both retail and wholesale, making it easy to share a little something special wherever it’s needed.

Today, we’re proud to call our brand new facility in Lakewood, NY, home. This expanded space has allowed us to increase production and prepare for the many exciting things ahead.

    We’re transforming our on-site courtyard into a welcoming space for private events, bus tours, seasonal gatherings, and community experiences. Stay tuned.

    One of our most exciting additions to TBC will be our Build-a-Basket experience, available on both our website and at our main location. You’ll be able to choose your favorite snacks, candies, and treats to build a basket that’s perfectly personalized.

    We'll be unveiling our new fundraising program for schools, churches, nonprofits, and other organizations in need of a fun, effective way to raise funds. With customizable snack packs, participants can create offerings that appeal to supporters of all ages.
