PAYMENT OPTIONS
We accept advance payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards.

We accept money orders and checks drawn on U.S. banks only. Orders paid by check will be held until the check clears.

Credit terms are available for business customers only. Please complete the online credit application and send to us for approval. We must have a signed credit application on file before terms can be extended. We reserve the right to request that credit applications be backed by a valid credit card. Approved business customers will receive terms and be invoiced with each order.

 

We do not extend credit to individuals or non-accredited organizations and reserve the right to deny credit at our discretion.

 

DELIVERY
Local delivery can be arranged for business customers in southwestern New York State, central New York State, northwestern Pennsylvania and northeastern Ohio.

Orders for business customers outside of our regional delivery area and for individual consumers are shipped via FedEX. Shipping charges are based on current FedEx rates.

 

RETURN POLICY

  1. Customized items cannot be returned.

For refunds (minus original shipping charges) return your unopened non-customized product within 2 weeks of receipt to The Basket Co. Include buyer’s name and address to insure proper credit. Credit will be issued in the same manner as the original payment. Send returns to: The Basket Co; 31 Water Street, Box 8; Jamestown, NY 14701. Include a copy of your invoice to insure proper credit. If product exchange is preferred, indicate on accompanying correspondence.

 

LATE, LOST OR DAMAGED DELIVERY
We cannot be responsible for late, lost or damaged deliveries by FedEx. We will cooperate with you to track your package and file any necessary claim. If we make a mistake with the recipients address, we reserve the right to issue a refund or ship replacement product.

If the person placing an order gives us incorrect delivery information, non-receipt of the order must be reported to us within 2 weeks from the date of the original order. At our discretion, we will issue a refund if product is recovered in resalable condition or reship a duplicate order with additional charges.

 

ORDER ERRORS
If we make a mistake in your shipment, we reserve the right to issue a refund or replace your order, at our discretion. All problems must be reported to us within 2 weeks after receipt of your original order.

 

MELTED CANDY
If you purchase insulated cool packs with your order, chocolates are guaranteed to arrive without melting. If chocolates are melted at the time of delivery, we will issue a refund for the chocolates and the cool packs. Problems must be reported to us within 2 business days following order receipt.

 

APPLICABLE LAW
If you access this website from anywhere in the United States or Canada, you agree that the laws of the state of New York will govern these terms and conditions.

 

LIMITATION ON LIABILITY
We cannot be responsible for damage arising from the operation, content or use of our website. Additionally, we are not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that result from the use or the inability to use our website, including but not limited to, your reliance on information obtained at the website, or that result from mistakes, omissions, interruptions, errors, defects, viruses, delays in operation or transmission, or any failure of performance.
